Technical consultant, Fluid Catalytic Cracking

Our client is a Western Company, a leading supplier of Hydro Processing Catalysts, Fluid Catalytic Cracking, Catalysts and related services, to the oil refining industry.These catalysts are used for obtaining cleaner fuels and increasing the production of more valuable products from a barrel of oil.

They are looking for Technical consultant for Fluid Catalytic Cracking, based in Moscow.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• After a training period the Consultant will have in depth technical knowledge of our products and of their applications. Making use of this knowledge he initiates activities to promote our FCC catalysts at the customer;
• She/he maintains customer relations at customers, R&D centres and headquarters;
• She/he prepares technical proposals;
• She/he carries out technical services, like unit monitoring and troubleshooting. He makes recommendations for unit and catalyst optimisation;
• She/he contributes to improve the image of the Company as a catalyst supplier by giving presentations, writing articles, etc.
• She/he contributes to collecting knowledge on the experience with our products and makes recommendations in which area’s new product development needs to take place.
• Consultant will work from our office in Moscow. She/he will spend a few months for training in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.


Skills & Education

• MSc Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
• Strong technical and commercial skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Prepared to travel;
• Fluent in Russian and English;
• Minimum 3-5 years of FCC experience;
• Good communications and interpersonal skills;
• Strong influencing & negotiation skills.
